			| On March 3, the Chairman of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC)  General Council Josef Zisels, as well as the EAJC General Council  members Dr. Anatoliy Podolsky (Director of the Ukrainian Center for  Holocaust Studies) and Leonid Finberg (Director of the Center for  Studies of History and Culture of East European Jewry of the National  University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy), were part of the reception organized  by the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter Initiative (Chairman Jim Temerty) in  honor of the visit to Ukraine of the Canadian Minister of Citizenship,  Immigration and Multiculturalism Jason Kenney. |  |

			| EAJC Participation in the “Us and Them” Project |

			| The Euro-Asian Jewish Congress has provided conceptual, organizational  and financial support to the unique “Us and Them” project for the  directors of city schools, leading educators and teachers, as well as  members of city governments, aimed to acquaint the above-mentioned  groups with the world of Russian-speaking Jewry, the culture and  heritage of residents of the former Soviet Union, who currently live in  Israel. |  |

			| The international women's Jewish organization  Project Kesher, working under the aegis of the Euro-Asian Jewish  Congress, has initiated a round table in Dniepropetrivsk, titled “Job  Placement and the Creation of Workplaces. Development of Private  Enterprises.”  A regional seminar of Project Kesher has also  taken place in Bobruisk. 26 women from Minsk, Mozyr, Lida, Borisov,  Gomel', Rechitsa and Bobruysk gathered to answer one simple question:  “What can women do if they unite?”  |  |

			| The awarding of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress 'For Merits' medal took  place as part of the events timed to the IV pre-electoral review  conference of the Federal Jewish National Cultural Autonomy. The medal  was awarded to important public figures of the Russian Jewish community. |  |
