Lvov conference to commemorate victims of Yanovsky concentration camp.
18.11.2003 The Yanovsky concentration camp was liquidated 60 years ago. And this year, the international conference "Holocaust in Interethnic and Universal Measurement: Galicia, Ukraine, Europe" was held in Lvov to commemorate the holocaust. The conference was carried out with the help of the Lvov scientific and educational Holocaust center (A. Shwarz) and the Lvov Polytechnic University. The Lvov ghetto, with its 136,000 residents, was the largest in the former USSR territory that was occupied by the Nazis. The conference was held to commemorate tens of thousands of Jews
