For Jews in Dnepropetrovsk and its environs, there is an addition to the already wide variety of foods available to the kosher consumer. “Kosherniy Pogrebok” (Kosher Vault) has begun to produce canned beef with buckwheat (beef hash).
Canned chicken and a different recipe of canned beef were introduced earlier and have already become quite popular. All three of these canned meats can be used as ingredients for dishes that require additional cooking, or they may be eaten without any additional preparation.
The canned meats are glatt kosher and under the strict supervision of the Chief Rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk Shmuel Kaminetsky.
