Russians Pray for the Repose of Palestinians' Souls

The Council of Muftis of Russia said that the Friday prayers and sermons in all mosques of the country will be dedicated to the Palestinians killed during the Cast Lead Israeli operation in Gaza.
"We can not remain indifferent when innocent children, elderly people and women are killed because of the aggression. Among them there are our brothers in faith," said the first deputy chairman of the Council of Muftis Damir Gizatullin, as quoted by the RIA Novosti agency. Gizatullin noted that in particular, in Moscow's Conciliar Mosque and other Muslim shrines of the Russian capital the prayers for the deceased in Gaza civilians have been held.
Repose prayers for those who died in Gaza will also be held in the mosques of Volga region, Urals and Siberia.
