Auschwitz Liberation Day Commemorated with a Minute of Silence in Moscow

The memory of the many million Holocaust victims was commemorated with a minute of silence in Moscow. The veterans of the Great Patriotic War, former prisoners of Nazi concentration camps and ghettos, religious leaders, representatives of social, national, cultural and youth organizations, as well as RF authorities gathered today at the Federation of Peace and Harmony. An exhibition of photographs, portraits, newspaper clippings and other materials was situated in the foyer, visually testifying on the cruelty of fascists in the concentration camps during the Second World War.
