St. Petersburg Policemen Taught to Blame Jews for Everything
01.04.2009
Yet another textbook scandal is unfolding in St. Petersburg. Now in the
center of attention is the University of Ministry of Internal Affairs, or rather its manual on the history of the native state and law, issued by the university professor V.A. Drozhzhin.
It turns out that all the troubles in Russia should be blamed on Jews, at least according to this book. The reaction of the experts to most quotations is either outrage, or just a smile. It is no wonder, with excerpts similar to the following:
"Speaking in the Israeli parliament (Knesset) in February 1992, Gorbachev-Garber said: 'All that I did with the Soviet Union, I have done in the name of our God Moses.'"
Or:
"The collapse of the USSR and the emergence of the CIS on its territory stands for the phrase 'Hitler's hopes came true'. What the German Nazism did not manage to accomplish, Zionism performed."
Of course, one could attempt to dismiss the offense, citing that the book is rather publicistic and intended for a wide range of readers. However, the manual is prepared in accordance with the curriculum for the discipline of "History of Russian State and Law."
And it is intended for students, graduate students, junior scientific assistants and professors of the educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
"The textbook considers the history of Russian state and law of the 'perestroika' period," reads the annotation to the book. "It provides a scholarly analysis of the major regulatory acts adopted by the highest state authorities of the USSR and Soviet republics in recent years of Soviet rule in our country. This manual gives a clear idea of who and how was able to eliminate the Soviet Union, and helps to get rid of the numerous myths about the causes of the 'collapse' of the Union state that have nothing to do with science."
The University has printed a thousand copies of the book at once. This publication has the copyright of the university. And that means that its leadership practically acknowledged their position in history issues, reports the "News Time".
"The textbook was published, but it is difficult to say how scandalous it is," as "Komsomolka" was told in the editorial and publishing department of the University. "Reviews of the textbook were conducted at other universities. And so, this book was carried out in author's edition. The distinguished Professor took everything in his hands, and asked to publish the book as it was, without outer editing."
