09.12.2002 The well-known bard Alexander Rosenbaum has once again visited our city. On December, 9 he came to "Golden Rose" to meet his admirers. The Chief Rabbi of Dnepropetrovsk r. Shmuel Kaminetsky welcomed the actor and suggested to make such meetings traditional. In honor of the visitor the chorus "Bnej Baruch" has sang "Lekhaim" and a song about Dnepropetrovsk. Then Alexander Jakovlevich has suggested to ask him any questions which he was answering within one hour.
People asked about the sources of his creativity, about compatibility of his two occupations (medicine and singing), about the modern music, about the purpose of his life as the Jew and about mission of Jews in this world. They spoke about attitude to assimilation, anti-Semitism, terrorism, Kashpirovsky's sessions and about many other things.
Both youth and aged veterans listened attentively to Alexander Rosenbaum. Then the bard sang the songs which were warmly accepted.
At the end of a meeting r. Shmuel Kaminetsky has wished the visitor "zai gisund y nahes". In return the actor has wished to all present great health and all the best. And then for a long time he was repulsing fans hunting for autographs.
To crown it all, it should be mentioned this meeting has taken place due to mister Michael Mindich.
