                  President of Ukraine about the meeting with Prime Minister of Israel: We managed to build trustful relations

                  President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation and coordination of the two countries in the international organizations. Particularly, the parties discussed the situation over Israel, Syria and the entire Middle East including Iraq. Another topic of negotiations was the issue of ensuring peace in global context, including the situation in Donbas.

                  Evaluating the visit, the President called it successful: "We managed to build trustful relations".

                  The Head of State informed that the parties had discussed a wide range of issues of trade and economic cooperation and achieved a series of agreements. Particularly, the parties agreed to intensify air connection between the two countries.

                  The President also noted that the visa-free regime between Ukraine and Israel had played a positive role in the intensification of relations between our states: "The visa-free regime with Israel justified itself and so will the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU," Petro Poroshenko said.

                  Soon, the parties will sign the agreement that will allow Ukrainian constructors to work in Israel providing thousands of jobs for Ukrainians, as stated by the President.

                  A series of agreements concerned cooperation in agricultural sector. Particularly, it was agreed with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Israel that Ukrainian agricultural workers will study modern technologies in Israel. Also, the agreement on the program of cooperation in certain spheres of mechanical engineering was achieved.

                  The parties also agreed to conclude the Agreement on Free Trade Area between the two countries in the first half of 2016. In this regard, the President of Ukraine noted that "every second loaf of bread in Israel is already produced from Ukrainian flour".

                  Speaking of the context of coordination of actions of the two countries in the international arena, the President informed: "We agreed to exchange information and coordinate joint actions in the international organizations taking into account Ukraine's non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council".
