A sports reporter for Fox News was sacked by the channel after making anti-Semitic and racist comments in a video posted on Facebook.

In the 35-minute broadcast, filmed for Barstool Sports, a baseball website, 27-year-old Emily Austen singled out Jews, Mexicans and Chinese people.

"I didn’t even know that Mexicans were that smart," she said.

"The Chinese guy is always the smartest guy in math class."

Her co-hosts appeared put off by her comments but wanted to see how far her racism stemmed.

"Jews, kind of a little stingy?" one of the hosts asked Austen.

"Yeah, I went to school in Boca, so I know most of that… the way I used to talk to Jews in Boca, they hated, because I was a server, and I just didn’t care and they would complain and bitch about everything,"

The racist rant, which was presented on Facebook Live filmed, was removed from Barstool’s page with a statement that the footage should have been edited prior to publication.

Fox News sacked the disgraced Florida-based broadcaster.

In a statement, Fox Sports Florida’s senior vice president, Steve Tello, said: ‘We were made aware that Emily Austen appeared in a social media video unaffiliated with Fox Sports in which she made insensitive and derogatory comments.’

‘She was not speaking on behalf of Fox Sports, nor do we condone any of the statements she made in the video
