                  A Judaic School was opened in the suburb of Tolyatti.

                  Recently, the youth of Orsk has been invited to participate in the Judaic School held in a suburb of Tolyatti. The topics of the workshop were of wide variety, starting from the history of Jews of the Second Temple and all the way to the situation in Modern Israel. The classes were conducted by experienced lecturers form Russian and Israel: Yulia Bershadskaya, a professor from the OUJ; Dan Shapiro, a well-known political scientist and literary critic; the prince Rashid Kaplanov, the president of the "Safer" centre, among many others. The topics of the seminar were the history of Jewry, relations between the Jewry and Christianity, history of Hebrew. During the Beit-Midrash, the participants discussed parables, verses by Daniel Harms; staged sketches.
