                  Memorial Sign in Mariampol' Village

                  On November 7, 2010, a memorial sign was erected in Mariampol' village of the Galitsky region of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast where there one had been a Jewish cemetery, now destroyed. The sign was erected with the aid of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress in memory of the local Jewish community, destroyed in 1941-1945 by Nazis. The author of the project is the sculptor Vil'shuk V.M.
