		 Center Sefer opened the annual program Eshnav in Israel31.07.2011 Center for University Teaching of Jewish Civilization ‘Sefer,’ working under the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) " (Director - EAJC General Council member Dr. Victoria Mochalova, Chairman of the Academic Council – the EAJC Secretary General  Professor Michael Chlenov) opened the annual program "Eshnav," within the framework of which graduate and postgraduate students, and  young researchers engaged in Jewish Studies in the FSU  are selected by  competitive process to be  traditionally sent to Israel for a  month-long internship.This year  the  geography of the program is especially impressive – the participants come from places ranging  from Siberia to Eastern Europe, as well as the range of topics of their research. "Eshnav 2012" gives the participants opportunities to work in the Israel''''s key libraries and archives, to participate in methodological workshops and tours aimed at professionals in Jewish studies, future scientists and universities teaching stuff.Center "Sefer" is constantly working with young people. Just this summer in St. Petersburg   Summer School on  Jewish Studies  brought together 93 students from Russia, Ukraine,  Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, Latvia and Israel. XVII International  Youth Conference on Jewish Studies, a Field-school on Hasidism in Medzhibozh and field-school expedition in Belarus  were held this summer. Until the end of the year field-school in Latvia and the expedition to the city of Beltsy  (Moldova) also will take place .
