                  EAJC supported the Hebrew Olympiad in Moscow

                  Euro-Asian Jewish Congress (EAJC) sponsored the IV All-Russian interuniversity student at Hebrew language Olympiad. The competition was organized by the Department of Hebrew language and literature of the State Classical Maimonides Academy in cooperation with the Department of Jewish Studies of the Institute of Asian and African Studies of Moscow State University.
                  Olympiad took place in three phases, the first two in absentia, and the third intramural. 45 students from 7 universities in Moscow and St. Petersburg have applied to participate in the competition. 34 participants passed the first phase, 22 participated in the second and 6 in the final stage.
                  The jury, headed by Yulia Kondakova, Head of the Department of Hebrew Language and Literature of the Academy of Maimonides, chose the winner Anna Doshlygina (IAAS of MSU Jewish Studies Department). She will receive a grant from the EAJC to study at ulpan at the School of Rothberg (Hebrew University in Jerusalem).
